Morph ("we", "our", "the app") is a hair product intelligence app. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
What We Collect
- Account info — Email address and authentication credentials via Apple or Google sign-in.
- Hair profile — Hair type, texture, porosity, density, scalp condition, treatment history, and styling goals. You provide this during onboarding.
- Location — Approximate location (city-level) to determine local humidity and water hardness. We store latitude and longitude coordinates.
- Product photos — Photos you take or select to scan hair products. These are sent to our server for AI analysis and may be stored for your scan history.
- Scan results — AI-generated product analyses saved to your shelf.
How We Use Your Data
- To provide personalized product analysis based on your hair profile.
- To factor environmental conditions (humidity, water hardness) into recommendations.
- To save your product shelf and routine data so it persists across sessions.
Third-Party Services
- Supabase — Hosts our database, authentication, and file storage. Your data is stored on Supabase's infrastructure.
- Google AI (Gemini) — Processes product photos and generates ingredient analysis. Product images and your hair profile are sent to Google's API for analysis. Google's AI privacy policy applies to this processing.
- Apple / Google Sign-In — Handles authentication. We receive your email and a unique identifier, nothing else.
Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored in Supabase with row-level security — each user can only access their own data. All API communications use HTTPS. AI API keys are stored server-side and never exposed to the app.
Your Rights
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the app's Profile settings. If you need assistance, contact us at the email below.
Children
Morph is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Significant changes will be communicated through the app.
